Texas Sigmas Find Success | 2025 Lone Star State Annual Conference

October 11, 2025 members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. across the state of Texas gathered at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX to conduct their annual state meeting. Over 215 members of the fraternity were in attendance and they engaged with a variety of workshops to help them professionally and personally. Speakers such as Jerry Farmer, Adrian Howard, B. Michelle, Malik Miles, Howard Redmond, Dr. Karl Hearne, and Eric Hill just to name a few spoke on a variety of topics. Presentations touched on brotherhood, financial literacy, marketing, risk management, and autism.

Members were challenged to refocus on the foundation of the fraternity and what it means to be a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and to serve the community in that commitment. Brothers were directed to reconnect with one another within the space and in their local areas. Additionally, brothers were open to a new connections and findings that will enhance their daily fraternal activities.

During lunch, members were treated to an engaging talk by Anthony Flynn. Mr. Flynn is a successful entreprenuer who is an Execution Management and Business Growth expert coaching executives in Fortune 100 companies. His coaching session asked members to vigorously pursue what matters, create a plan for their pursuit, and be consistent in said pursuit. He explained that success is within grasp and people must be willing to chase what matters.

With a plethora of knowledge exchange, members were leaving with more than they expected and grew in ways that they will take back to their local communities and invest their time, energy, and resources for the benefit of their advancement.
